How to Mod the Number of Years on Your Gamercard (Crowns)
How to Mod the Number of Years on Your Gamercard (Crowns) By Twis7eD of InsomniacGamerZ.net This tutorial will show you how to mod the number of years on your Gamercard. These years represent how long you have been a Gold member of Xbox LIVE. These are also called "Crowns". Note: If you recover your Gamertag it will revert back to your actual number of years and you will have to re-mod it. Requirements A transfer cable or USB device An Xbox 360 A Gold Xbox LIVE membership Grunt Modder Party Buffalo Drive Explorer,Xport, Xtaf GUI, or any other drive explorer 1. Open up your drive explorer. I will be using Party Buffalo Drive Explorer. If you are using Party Buffalo Drive Explorer, your screen should look similar to this: ![]() 2. Now, open your drive with your drive explorer. If you are using Party Buffalo Drive Explorer, then your screen will look similar to this: 3. Now that your storage device is open, we will see something similar to this: ![]() There will be cache and data folders for USB devices. For an OEM HDD, you will see 3 Partitions. Partition 1, Partition 2, and Partition 3. You will be working with the Partition 3 folder and people with USB devices will be working with the data folder. 4. Now, follow these folder paths to get to your film(s). The folder paths are Data > Content > (your profile ID) > FFFE07D1 > 000000001 > (your profile). This is what it will look like: ![]() 5. Now extract the profile that you want to mod. I am extracting my main profile to mod. Extract the file to whatever location you want. ![]() 6. Now open up Grunt Modder. When you open it, you should be presented with a screen similar to this: ![]() 7. Now go to the Profile Slots tab. It should look like this: ![]() 8. Now click on the Crown Tool. A box should directly pop up like this: ![]() Just find your profile and open it. 9. Now the Crown Tool should be open with your profile. It will look something like this: ![]() Change the Years to whatever you like, I will change mine to 3. Like so: ![]() Make sure to have the Sync to Xbox Live buttons pushed in. I'm not sure if they actually work, but it's better to just do it. 10. Now, without closing the Crown Tool, go to the Grunt tab. It should look like this: ![]() 11. Now just click the Save button and a message should pop up telling you that it saved correctly. Like so: ![]() If it saved correctly, then you can close Grunt Modder. 12. Now go back to your drive explorer. Navigate to Data > Content > (your profile ID) > FFFE07D1 > 000000001 > (your profile). This is what it will look like: ![]() 13.Right click over your old, not modded, profile and click inject. Inject the newly modded profile and make sure to click overwrite/replace if it asks. Congratulations, you have now modded your years on your Gamercard! It should show up next time you sign on Xbox LIVE. If it doesn't, then try again. Also, if you delete your account or recover it, you might have to mod the number of years on your Gamercard again. I heard that it doesn't always stick. It only goes up to 10 years, but I haven't heard of anyone getting banned. Even though 10 years isn't even possible yet since Xbox LIVE hasn't been out that long.

You can also use the Horizon Beta or the Profile Crown editor.

Yeah, you're right. The only reason that I didn't use Horizon for this tutorial was because I thought the Crown editor wasn't a free tool. I just looked now and it is.
