As you may or may not be aware, the new XGD3 format has a larger capacity than a standard DVD+R DL disc so it has become virtually impossible to make a 100% backup of the disc.

Testing is fully underway. The current LT+ 2.0 requires no update (except Samung which will require a small change). As an example we bought the troublesome Forza4 (doesn’t work with previous burning method – failed various checks), ripped to a backup using 0800 v3 and burned using the new iXtreme Burner Max and have been playing with it on XBL for several hours with the same LT+ 2.0 that was released last week.

Awesome. I may actually start ripping my games that I rent if I can get one of these brands of drives cheap or if I already have it. I'm glad it doesn't need a new ripping firmware either. That's great to hear.

i dont really get how this is gonna work, we're going to have to flash our computer drive?

Yeah, looks like there is certain compatible burners, so if you don't have one of those, then you will need to buy one and then flash it with LT+ 2.0, I guess.

hopefully someone makes a good tut or vid on how to do it, cause i got a feeling its gonna confuse the hell outta me.

I'm sure Team-Xecuter will make an extremely detailed tutorial. Although, it will be extremely simple. All you'll have to do is load Jungle Flasher, your drive should show up, and then you just open LT+ 2.0 and flash it to the drive. There shouldn't even be anything involved with a DVD key since computer drives don't have DVD key's like Xbox's do.
