Hard drive question

Is it possible to use any type of external hard drive for a 360? I've heard that only certain brands work. Does anyone know if this is true?

I know I can partition it, but I'm looking to use the full 320GB

if it has usb plug in, you just have configuer it like you would a usb drive. but theres a 32GB limit for stuff like that i think.

I've found it. You can use any but there are only certain ones you can use the full space
