I actually get 9 months of XBL because I used my three then I got it repaired because of RRoD so that is 6 then my friend makes his on his xbox then I recover it he already gave me 1 I have to wait until I run out again.

yeah when i first got my xbox, i used up all three of my gold, then when i got the red rings, and i sent my xbox in. i got a one month when i got it back and the three free ones that came with the xbox, but those didn't last. i just wish there was a way to transfer the one months from the new accounts to your main one. also, can anyone offer me some good tips to making my xbox last longer because ive already red ringed once, and i think it might happen again...soon. so if anyone has any tips, please be my guest and give me some.

If you send in your Xbox for RRoD repairs you get more One Months on your Xbox plus they give you a one month subscription card for the trouble of sending your Xbox in to be repaired.

The one months are on your Xbox not the hardrive, so if you switch hard drives you can't just make more one months.

I believe that's part of their system. Too bad. Maybe with JTAG'd Xbox's you might be able to find an exploit to make unlimited accounts.

after you have used up all three you can reformat your harddrive and get the three back only down side is that you lose all your save info

No, you can't. All of the accounts are stored in your NAND and specifically in your KV. Reformatting your HDD does nothing.
