It's going well, a little slower than we planned, but its going!
It's a pretty simple process, you just have to be sterile with everything you do while your setting up the environment. Basically, what you do is fill mason jars with wild bird seed (or another substrate), and pressure cook them so they are 100% sterile. Then you have to inject spores into the jars, which is the dangerous part because if you let ANY airborn bacteria in the jar, they will get contaminated, and instead of growing mushrooms, you will grow some other shitty fungus. But after a few weeks the jars get all fuzzy and white like a turd does after sitting outside for a few days, and then you dump the jars into foil pans, and shock them with a cold enough temperature to cause them to begin the fruiting cycle
