Oh, well in that case, I would try not injecting the XUID first and if the DLC doesn't run then inject it. I have no idea if it would corrupt the DLC or not. I mean, you could always save a backup of the DLC on your computer just in case something does go wrong.

I have a major problem that I hope you might be able to help.
I have a jtagged jasper BB, all my games are running from external hard disk and I have Bioshock 2 in there as well.
I've also downloaded all the DLC's for Bioshock 2 and copied those into the internal MS 120GB HDD and also downloaded the title updates for it and installed into the cache folder of the internal HDD.

If I load up Bioshock 2, and I click on the " Downloadable Content ", a gray screen pops up and disappears immediately.
I've checked the DLC's and the console ID, profile ID and Device ID are all 0's.
Also please note that I've just started playing Bioshock 2 so I don't if I have to finish the game first.

I've followed your tutorial but the UnlicensedContentPatch fix is no longer available for download..

Any help would be greatly appreciated..

I'm assuming the "Download Content" button that you're talking about is the button that you would click if you were playing on Xbox LIVE and wanted to download the DLC from the marketplace. Since you already have the DLC, you don't need to click that button. I don't know exactly what the DLC is, but I would guess that you can just go play it. You may need to beat the game to actually unlock it, though. You'll have to give me more detail on what the DLC is.

Minerva's Den
Protector Trials
Sinclair Solutions Tester Pack

I've checked them all in Yaris and console ID are all 0's
The XUID are all F's
There's nothing in Device ID and Profile ID

I've always assumed that if you have any downloaded content, when you start the game, you can just click on Single Player --> Downloaded Content; and it should show you the DLCs that you have.

Also, do I need to inject anything into the XUID...
I could upload the DLCs somewhere for you to have a look at if that might help..

No problem about the content patch. I'm always happy to update links if they go down.

As for the DLC, do you have Title Update 2 or later? Because I was reading about the Minerva's Den DLC and for that one you need Title Update 2. If you don't have it, then I would suppose the DLC wouldn't show up. I know you said you put an update in your cache, but do you know what update it was?

Normally DLC will just show up in any way that it should when you would download it from the marketplace on Xbox LIVE. Since these are additions to the story/campaign, I would just go to pick a level from campaign and see if there are any new levels that are showing up. Since you haven't beaten the game, for all you know the missions/levels could be mixed in with the missions that came with the game. It might not be blatantly obvious which levels are new or not. So, you may want to try looking at all your campaign levels, remove all your DLC, look and see if there are any campaign levels missing, and then add the DLC back if there are.

The XUID doesn't need to be changed at all. And if nothing of what I said above works, then you may just have corrupt DLC that was uploaded from a bad spot. Don't publicly post where you got it from, but if it isn't the most well known Xbox 360 ISO downloading website, then I probably wouldn't trust it.

No problem. If you realize that you still are having a problem, then I can try to see if I can get you some DLC that isn't corrupted. Because at this point, the only problem I would see that you're having is your DLC being corrupted in some way.

Sorry for the late update, I finally got everything working...

For Bioshock 2, the problem not putting the latest title update in the cach folder...
For Red Dead Redemption, I have to access the DLC via single player instead of from the Downladable Content section

For Alan Wake, I have to finish the game first...

The list goes on, suffice to say that I have everything working now...

Hi, everyone. Loved the tutorial, it's very easy to understand, but I do have one problem. I recently bought a non jtagged xbox 360 with the iXtreme Lt. 1.1. Could I still transfer the dlc to my HD without being banned?

I have no idea what that is but if you can transfer it i doubt you would get banned, and if your skeptical about it wait until twis7ed gets online and talk to him about it.

you can plug your HDD into the computer via transfer cable. and do a license transfer that way...

LT is the safest firmware out right now, and it's live safe for now.
I played my modded box online almost every day for a year, with iXtreme (not LT), and I was never banned.

It won't get you banned, but you won't be able to play the DLC. This is only for JTAG'd Xbox 360's. You have an Xbox 360 with a modded DVD drive. A JTAG'd Xbox 360 is one that basically has a modified NAND, which is a chip on the Xbox 360. When the Xbox is modified with the JTAG hack, it allows unsigned code, homebrew, LIVE files to be transferred between consoles, and do a multitude of other things to be done that can't normally be done on a retail Xbox or an Xbox that has a modified DVD drive.

And in your response to you not being able to go online: There are a couple things that you can do. You can revert back to stock firmware on your drive if you have your original DVD key or if you can get your original DVD key. Which is very easy to do. Or you can just go online and risk it because staying offline is like being banned anyway. The only reason I wouldn't go online is if you plan on reverting back to stock firmware in the future and want to go online then without the risk of a ban.

Hello. I was looking for someone to talk to who had knowledge on hacking and the use of jtagged xboxes and you guys seem to. I was wondering if you could answer a few questions for me. One, does jtagging with a USB drive give you all the features that the original way of soldering would? And secondly, will using dlc on LIVE that was put on a jtagged xbox (not bought from Microsoft marketplace) get you banned? Like if I were to put the halo reach defiant map pack on my xbox and play it on LIVE, would it ban me?

There is no way to JTAG an Xbox through USB. You have to solder the JTAG wires, hence the name JTAG. And you can't play content that is on your JTAG on Xbox LIVE. That's the whole the point of JTAG's, that they can run unsigned code and Xbox LIVE consoles can't.

So there is basically no point in jtagging my xbox if I want to play LIVE?

Correct.
The only time anyone brings a JTAG on Xbox Live is to host a modded game. The JTAGs get banned extremely fast (within a few hours of connecting to LIVE). They can be unbanned, but to do that you need to buy a Keyvault which isn't cheap, just to get banned again in a few more hours.

In addition to Jbud's post, the KV market is dead. So good luck finding a KV. Most people that attempt to buy KV's or sell them on Xbox-Scene just get their threads closed because the moderators think KV's are useless (which for the general population of JTAG users they are).
