[Twis7eD]

This tutorial is meant to show you how to host MW2 XP Lobbies (and possibly more) after title update 7 (the newest title update). This bypasses all of Infinity Wards checks that were previously put in place to stop XP Lobbies.

Requirements:

XEX Menu:
Download Xbins: http://dwl.xbox-scene.com/iriez/auto_xbins_2008.rar
Let it connect to the server, then go to:
/XBOX 360/dashboards/XeXMenu/
And double click the file called: xexmenu_v1.1.rar

MW2 TU7 Mods:
Premium download only: download here

The .iso:
Search for it on:

Wx360:
http://gael360.free.fr/files/wx360-1.6.rar

1. Extract Xexmenu from its RAR with a program like WinRAR

2. Then after downloading the MW2 .iso, open it in Wx360 like this. Do this by clicking File> Open.
Then highlight all the contents

3. Then make a folder somewhere called MW2 and extract everything in Wx360 to that folder. It will say 100% on each of the files in Wx360 once done.

4. Now open your MW2 folder that you made and replace the default_mp.xex with the one that you got from the mods. Also put the default_mp_launcher.xex and ihc.dll in that folder.

5. Now we have the modded files ready to go. So find Xexmenu and get ready to put it on your hard drive. Take the folder that you extracted and place it in this location on your hard drive:
Partition 2 > Content > 000000000

6. Now that we have XEX Menu on the HDD, stay in the 000000000 folder on your HDD and create a new folder called "Games" (without the " of course) and then put your MW2 folder into the "Games" folder.

Your MW2 folder should be located here on your hard drive:
Partition 2 > Content > 000000000 > Games > MW2

7. Now turn your JTAG / RGH xbox on and go to XEX Menu, which should be located under your games.

8. Once in Xexmenu, navigate to your MW2 folder, which should be located here:
Partition 2 > Content > 000000000 > Games > MW2

Then just load the default_mp_launcher.xex file by pressing it once.

Now go to multiplayer and create a system link game in which you are the host. Now have your retail (non-modded) Xbox join the game.

Now once the retail has joined - press the back button on your JTAG. It should notify you saying its completed infections. Start a private match on your retail with a few people and then just have anyone who wants to prestige kill themselves and they will gain enough xp to prestige.

Twis7ed, I have been wondering on how to do this for so long. Now I have some confidence in buying me a jtag'd xbox. Thanks! BTW, does anyone know where I can find cheap, already jtag'd xbox's?

You're not going to find one cheap. You either JTAG it yourself or buy one for $200-$300.

Well, not cheap as in 50 dollars. I am okay with a price of like 250.

And, I am only fourteen. I know for a fact I will mess something up if I jtag it myself

Ebay then. I saw a couple that went for $200 yesterday.

What do I type in, because on ebay I typed in xbox 360 jtag, and all that came up was jtagABLE xbox's, not already jtag'd xbox's

i don't know if i did something wrong or what but when i patch/transfer the multi mods over to my xbox it won't load it just hangs in a black screen?

Xbox360iso.com or if you have a JTAG you can just take your MW2 and rip it to your HDD so that you don't need the ISO at all.
