Falcon Jtag
I bought a xbox 360 off craigslist with a broken dvd drive to my surprise it was jtaggable.
I payed this guy to jtag it in front of me & I never got the origanal nand bump. So I asked him for it & he said that I could dump with xellous to get my nanddump or email him my xbox serial #. I change cases so to get my serial # flash 360 tool? I was wondering would the dumps be any different? as i have never ran any programs to the nand. Last edited by jayden; 07-26-2011 at 03:45 PM.. |

You can get your serial by opening a dump of your NAND in 360 Flash Tool, but at this stage of the game, there really isn't a big necessity for your original NAND dump. I don't have mine and I've been able to upgrade every time a new rebooter comes out.
And you can't dump your NAND with XeLL or Xellous. You can dump parts of it like the kv.bin, config.bin, etc. but not the whole dump. It's easier just to download Flash360 and dump your whole NAND with that. |

Ok thanks.I have other questions.I have xenon with bad blocks (201-3FF,202-3FF,3AD-3FF)& no dvd drive & no origanl nand dump,I made a dump with flash360.When I run jtag tool to create freeboot img I get WARNING crl: data appears to be croupt or damage! I unmapped & remapped bad blocks & still get the same error. I also put in a dvd drive & change setting to mach dvd in 360 flah tool. But didn't flash to the jtag. If's on the 12611 dash & the drive & everything works O.K.But I know one day I'm going to have to update.

Use the FreeBOOT Toolbox Maker to make your NAND image instead of JTAG tool. Here's a DL link for the newest versions.
12611 kernel 12625 kernel 13146 kernel Also, I would probably just ignore that message in JTAG tool as long as you know that everything will still work even if you have bad blocks. And I don't really get what you're trying to say about the DVD drive. If you want to put a DVD drive in your Xbox, then you're going to need to flash your DVD key to the DVD drive for it to work or else it will only play DVDs and not games. And if you're going to make a NAND image without your DVD drive, then you can select that option in the FreeBOOT Toolbox Maker program. |

Thanks & sorry if I'm hard to understand. The drive is flashed with jtag key & works, the nand still has no drive cheked. I dont know whats been done to this xbox before. I bought it off craigslist,no nand bump & it rrod like a week later & he fix it (xclamp fix bolts) & it rrod again & the guy would not return my emails or calls,(Tom 778-321-XBOX(9269).So I fix it myself. It had dashlaunch & I was having problems with it so I manualy removed it.(dashlaunch.xex,lhelper.xex)will that cause any problems?& Thanks again for the help.

No, I don't think that should cause any problems as long as you completely removed dash launch. I have never personally ever heard of anyone removing dash launch, so I don't know what the process should be. If you want more info then you should probably try to contact the creator of dash launch, cOz.
