I did a system restore on my comp and didn't back up my music files, is there a way I can take the music from my iPhone or iPod and transfer it to my comp?

Nope, the only thing you can do is to re-download all your music. Sorry bro.

Why don't you just go into itunes and take the music from itunes and save it on your computer. If it's not in the format you want just use a program to change it.

I don't know what your talking about? I said nothing about the file format I just need a program to transfer my music from my phone to iTunes. If the songs were in iTunes already I wouldn't have a problem

if you have a friend with a PC i know it's very simple to rip the music because I've done it before.
Then you could just transfer the music however to your computer (flash drive/dvd+r etc).

i do believe that if you go to your settings and view all hidden folders and than go to your ipod, all of your music will be there.

I ended up using Senuti it's easy and free. Most of the other programs had like a 200 song limit where this one has 1000
