I don't know if you guys even remotely care, but I wanted to ask anyway. I'm either going to be doing one of three things with the current ranks that we have. If you don't know what I'm talking about, it's the Halo 3 ranks that are on your postbit.

I will either be:
a) Adding these new Halo: Reach ranks in addition to the current ones:

b) Leaving the ranks as is
c) Possibly getting rid of the current ranks overall and adding these Reach ranks

I'm not sure if I want to do option C, but if people vote it, then I might as well do it.

just take out all the halo 3 ranks and add the halo reach ranks or switch to call of duty or something?

I used those ranks at the way beginning of the site. They look terrible, trust me. These Reach ranks are mostly just better looking versions of the H2 ranks for the most part.

I think the majority of the Halo: Reach ranks look fresher than the Halo 3 ones but there are some I prefer were kept as Halo 3 like brigadier.

Should be like this. It would give you the little number icon every time someone posts in a thread that posted in as well. It could go in the top right hand corner by your private messages

Isn't that what bookmarking a thread, or following a thread, or whatever its called here for?

I do like it though, might get annoying after awhile, not every thread I post in I want to send me notifications.

Yes but this would probably be better than going through and bookmarking them all. And yeah I guess it could get annoying but there would most likely be an option to turn it off.

It's called subscribing to a thread and vBulletin has it built in. Just click this button at the top of any thread that you want to subscribe to:

Then in your User control panel, you can see any threads that you're subscribed to:


You can also go into your edit options part of your user control panel and choose if you want to get emails from threads that you're subscribed to:

No, you have to subscribe. You get notifications when you do if there are new posts.

Yes, you are automatically subscribed to any thread that you post in if that is the default for your usergroup. I think that I made that the default for every usergroup. And obviously if you turn automatic subscriptions off, then you're going to need to subscribe to the threads that you want to.

And to answer your second question, I guess you could subscribe to threads that you haven't posted in just to watch them anyway. I don't know why you would do that, but you have the option to.
