Staff Appreciation
LelandBRown - Admin when I first converted to vBulletin. Helped me with the initial set up and creation of the forums from the ground up. Stayed around and played his role as admin for a few months before finally retiring. Came back in January of 2010, I believe, and was a Super Mod. Stayed around for a little while, but unfortunately his activity dwindled and he lost his position. He is the only person to date that has served two seperate terms on staff as a Super Mod or higher.
NicksMods - Admin on the initial PhpBB forum, Simple Machines Forum, and vBulletin forum. Helped me understand a lot of what I know now. When I was really confused about something he always helped. After I installed my PhpBB forum and then deleted the database later on by mistake, he helped me set up an SMF forum which was so much better than PhpBB. Frenzy - Surprisingly, was always supporting the site for the first year it was around. Helped recruit members from other forums that he sometimes visited and friends from Xbox LIVE. He was only a Diet Mod for some of the Halo sections, but his encouragement, helpfulness, and effort earned him a place in the Veteran group. This was true of most of the early Diet Mods. Frenzy helped with a video that basically got us our first 1000 members and was always posting helpful topics. Unleashed - Diet Mod of the Graphics section at least twice at seperate times. His activity dwindled both times forcing him to retire from his position. He might have also served as a Diet Mod on the SMF or PhpBB forum before vBulletin. BobbTheBuilder - Served as a Diet Mod for the Xbox 360 Discussion on both the SMF forum and the vBulletin forum. His effort, just like Frenzy's, was shown through his hard work to promote the site. This, again, earned him a position in the Veteran usergroup. Smoke - Served as a Diet mod for a couple different sections. One of which being the Guides and Walkthroughs section where he posted literally hundreds of Guides and Walkthroughs. He also served as a Super Mod for awhile until his activity dwindled and he lost his positon. MoRa - Served initially as a Super Mod. I met him through his graphic request thread on another website. His work extremely impressed me and I wanted him to make me some graphics for a promotional video for IGZ. The original graphics were scrapped and never even used, but because I liked his work, I asked him if he wanted to help me out with my website. He was onboard for probably about a month before he became an admin and helped me lead the site in a great direction. He was always suggesting new ideas and helping me out. He left his position early in 2010 after pursuing his own website that he wanted to lead in his own direction. IronFalcon92 (SeGa) - Originally named IronFalcon92 (and what I prefer to call him), he began his work as a Super Mod. Probably a month or so after MoRa jumped on board, we were looking to fill a spot as a Super Mod and Falcon was just what we needed. He served as a Super Mod for more then 4 months, I would say, before leaving to pursue other things. Paradox (GeNeSiS/Horizon/Dooblestank/Valor) - Joined and through his hard work, he soon became the Diet Mod for the Game Saves section. He was a very valuable member for the site, always posting new things and bringing in other valuable, smart members to the site and easily deserving of a spot as Super Mod. So, that's what he got. He earned Super Mod and was an amazing one at that. He was undoubtly one of the best moderators that this site has seen. His transition from modding to graphics was incredible. When he puts his mind to something, he really seems to learn fast. I don't know if he had done any graphics before the initial ones that I saw, but right from the get-go, he was a great graphic designer. After MoRa left, I easily knew he was going to be the one to replace him. His dedication to helping the site, creating new graphics when I needed them and doing them how I needed them were a great asset to have. He left in early 2011 to pursue his graphics website and other things. Complex (Vero) - If there is anyone as similar to Paradox on the interwebz as Complex, I have yet to meet the man (or woman). Complex is a graphics mastermind. Just as talented and bright as Paradox. Both equally smart with great ideas and attitudes. Always looking to help and spot out little things to help everyone. Although his time on staff was cut short, he was a pleasure to have around for the months of work that he put in. He was a Super Mod for little time, but he still easily deserves to be a legacy of this site. Hopefully he'll make his way back to staff someday with his partner in crime Paradox. Grim - He's still a Super Mod? Yeah, he is. And he's still kicking ass (I guess ). This guy has been around since at least the beginning of when I installed vBulletin or possibly even before that. I was introduced to him through Smoke and I assume that Smoke introduced him to the site. I would call Smoke and Grim the Paradox and Complex of their time when they were both serving on staff. Grim has been a Super Mod for SUPER long (pun intended). He's taken one small break where he stepped down for what might not have even been a week and then came back to his spot. Who knows if he'll ever leave. He's a great addition to the site and has always been helpful and supportive or what I have needed to do or what my plans would be. Snow - One of the most helpful people on the site. He's been active in just about every 'scene' that has come through the site. He's worked as an advertiser, been a part of the graphics team, helped numerous people with different types of "hacking", and even worked slightly in the Xbox modding 'scene'. Whatever he can help with, he will help with. He's been an active part of the site ever since he joined in 2010 and has never stopped helping. He served as a Community Director with Al Capone. The Community Director spot is a now a non existance group that basically took control of moderating as basically a Super Mod and advertising the site and bringing various opporunities to it like affiliates. The group also controlled various social media elements like our Twitter, Facebook, and Youtube channels. He was a great addition to the team when he served and being almost a what some might call a 'renaissance man' of his 'scenes'. SCiLSiTR - This guy -- what can I really say about him? Well, from the getgo he was ready to serve. The day he joined, he was reporting posts and directing people in the time of craziness when everyone was trying to get into 10th prestige lobbies. I believe he quickly, and by quickly I mean EXTREMELY quickly, earned Diet Mod. He earned his spot probably in less then 2 weeks, if that. I think we deemed him the shoutbox moderator and the moderator of the Call of Duty sections. This wasn't enough, though. This guy was no doubt the best moderator of his time. He soon earned his spot as a Super Mod and destroyed all reported posts like he was getting paid extremely well to do it. He put members in their place. I believe he was introduced to the site through Paradox and maybe that's where he learned to moderator like that It soon became clear to Paradox and I that SCiLSiTR deserved a spot on the red team with me and him. So, he got the promotion and it was a good one too. His activity started to dwindle after awhile of being an Administrator and retired after Paradox.Jbudman - Again, another great guy that I knew was going to go far just from my first impression. While everyone was freeking out and asking for their 10th prestige and would not let up on bothering me, you have a guy who stayed cool and tried to help people. Even after he got what he wanted, he continuously helped people and earned his spot as the Call of Duty Diet Mod. He was always helping with graphics and anything else that he could. Not only that, but he's an extremly chill, nice, and smart guy that can get along with pretty much anyone. After serving as a Diet Mod for a few months, he earned a spot as a Super Mod and has done an amazing job ever since then. James - Probably the guy that I've known the longest of anyone on the site (excluding staff members that I have known in real life). He's been extremely helpful ever since I met him and we moderator together on another site called LegitHalo (now non existant). His knowledge of vBulletin and his "banhammer" aka his no tolerance for rule breakers were some things that easily played into his role of becoming a Super Mod. He started becoming a lot more active right when we needed him most and he stepped up. After Paradox and SCiLiSTR both stepped down from their positions as Admins, it became extremely clear who the next Admin was going to be. James is an amazingly smart and cool guy. He knows what he's doing, how he's going to do it, and the correct way to enforce it. I can see great things for IGZ with him as Admin. Al Capone - Where did this guy even come from? Haha, still not sure about that one. Who really cares, though. He's one of the nicest people that you will meet and he knows exactly what he's doing. He was an extremely active poster on the site for months, constantly reporting posts, make helpful suggestions, and advertising the site. He worked his way up to the Community Director team with Snow and worked greatly there. After Snow stepped down, it was obvious that Al needed to step up and fill the void that he was meant for. He became a Super Mod as part of an April Fool's joke that even fooled him. He got to stay on the team (my intentions all along). He's been doing an amazing job ever since he stepped up and I don't see him slowing down any time soon. Suresnipe - Been a great friend of mine for just as long, if not longer, then James. We've been great friends on Xbox LIVE for so long now and he's been a part of IGZ ever since vBulletin was installed and possibly beforehand. His activity was pretty low for awhile until he just spiked and started posting a rediculous amount. I decided that after Complex stopped doing Sig of the week (I think), that someone should take over and that they should automatically get Diet Mod to make sure everything goes correctly. Since Suresnipe is majoring in graphics and knows just as much as Complex and Paradox, that he should take over. He gladly accepted and has been doing a great job ever since. Honorable mentions: Nubble - Gow2 Diet mod Unmonk - MW2 diet mod, helped with lobbies (I don't actually have any respect for this guy, unfortunately, for many reasons that I don't want to go into. I just felt it would be the nice thing to do and mention him here) Angel - Advertiser Converted - Advertiser Waffle - Advertiser JonJonHalo - Advertiser This thread can't really encompass all the good work that all of these people have done. This is only meant to be a small thank you for everything that they have done to help me and the site throughout its history. I hope that you guys continue to help and I appreciate what has already been done and what will come in the future. Sorry to anyone that I forgot. If I forgot you, PM me. Sorry again!

First thing I thought of when I saw this thread was: "I wonder if Unmonk is gonna be in here" Should put him under the Dishonorable mentions. ![]()

I feel like everyone who served or helped in some way should get some mention even if I don't respect them anymore. They all did their part in helping the site in some way or another and that's what I respect. I just don't want their accomplishments and names to be "lost in translation" so to speak (see the movie if you haven't already).

This post really showed that the site grew a tremendous amount even before I joined. Seems you picked the right staff for the job Charles, and James will make it even better.

Wow I can't stop smiling. My run here has been great. Couldn't have wanted it to be any other way. This site has watched me grow and change in the realm of my internet and real life interests. I can honestly say it brought a tear to my eye to read. I loved my time as Diet, Super and Admin. I see bigger and better things for the site, because once a new member realizes how well our tight-knit community gets along and helps each other; they stick around. Charles, you've been a great friend, meeting you through MoRa was probably one of the best things to happen in my internet career. You've given me the tools and knowledge to even get a site off the ground (whether it's going through some trouble now or not) and I thank you for that. I really do. My rant is pretty long, but it's overdue, and well worth typing. I'd like to personally thank EVERYONE whose shared a laugh, or serious conversation with me over the time I've been here as well as all of the staff for making everyone around here's life easier. Long live IGZ!

Thanks buddy, I had fun while I was here, well before I was much of anything on the site where I really made my mark. I still remember not using the modCP for the first week or so, talk about humbling... IGZ really jumpstarted my internet career, as it did for Dooble (f**K his other names). IGZ has grown much farther than I would've ever anticipated, and it's credited in dual parts to the staff for their hard work, as well as the members pitching in. Anyways, thanks to everyone else who played their role behind the scenes, and enjoy knowing that you helped IGZ get to where it is today.
