[Twis7eD]

So, this is kind of hard to say. Some of you may think that this is a good thing, some may think that it is a bad thing. It's whatever you want it to be. What is happening is that a friend of mine, East Jesus, is taking over as the new owner of the site. He's really experienced in development, but doesn't know much about vBulletin or forums in general. When he heard about my site, he made me an extremely generous offer and bought the site off me. So, now he's going to be taking over from here on out. I can't guarantee who on staff is going to keep their positions or what's going to happen to the site at all, actually. I gave him FTP access, admin, and full access to anything he needs to deal with the site.

I'll still be here for the next couple days to show him everything and how it all works and help him if he needs it, but after that I will be gone. So, good luck to him! If you have anything to say to me before I go, then go ahead and say it. Just know that East Jesus will take care of you if he feels like doing that. I don't really know his full intentions for the site at this point, he might just shut it down and redirect the url to some other site that he has set up, I really don't know. You can talk to him about that kind of stuff, if he wants to answer.

Anyway, peace out everyone. It's been fun, hopefully I'll talk to some of you sometime and hopefully the new management treats you good.

I've been talking to Twis7eD for about a month now. We've been talking on and off about different subjects and when he showed me his site, I looked around for awhile. Then we made a deal about how much I could sell it to him for. When we reached an agreement, I signed up and we decided to announce it to the rest of the site. Yea that sounds good and all but what about the other staffers? What about the community? What are you going to change? This seems like a drastic change to just happen without anyones knowledge.

And who will control the "vip account" that twis7ed has that holds all the funds raised by people who bought vip? is it twis7eds retirement or will you control it and put it to good use?

Hi Hayzeus,

I'd prefer not to say how much the site was bought for. If Twis7eD wants to answer that, then he can. Pertaining to your vip account question, I'm not sure if I can answer it. I really don't know what you mean. If you are talking about all the funds that Twis7eD has saved for the site, those will stay with him. Everything that I need to pay for the site now will come out of my own pockets. I don't expect him to pay that money to me since it is the money that he has saved for the site and that he has earned. I will work with my own money. And for your last question, Twis7eD will be going away after I have settled in completely. I need to know how to control everything, so Twis7eD will be showing me everything over the course of the next few days, but after that he will be leaving.

if my post wasnt clear i will "try" to clear it up.
when we pay twis7ed for vip he doesnt go and spend it. he puts it away for site improvement. He recently said he still has the account that has a good lump sum of cash still sitting in it and we were gunna use it to improve the site in the suggestions thread.


basically wthe money spent for improved status went towards the site, but never spent. was just wondering if that now his personal money or not. Thanks

Hi Hayzeus,

I am not going to ask for that money from Twis7eD. If he wants to volunteer some of it or all of it to me, then I will accept it, but I will not make him give it to me. All money to support the site will come out of my own pockets at this time. Which is fine with me, because right now I have enough money to invest lots into the site and help it grow.

Why would you leave just because a new owner for the site has arrived (if thats what you meant)...
a new owner could mean a new beginning, maybe this is what exactly the site needed. Dont think of a new owner being the end of IGZ maybe this guy can bring some major improvement to the site which we have needed for a while now. For example, the church i've been going to for years started to lose a lot of members and i do mean a lot... then not too long ago, someone new came along purchased the church and now its better than ever and now we have a lot of people coming to the church so yeah... dont lose hope. Just wait and see....
