Since many of you are having difficulty doing the glitch I will go into an extreme amount of detail:

First off, The glitch is not patched as of the last LASO week: During that Time I earned an excess of 800,000 Credits, which makes up more than I could earn in 2 weeks, which is the banning period. (@XoB Lil Jinz) I am now a General.

Now, To the glitching.
During the LASO Week you will want to first log onto Halo and Check which level you must play to earn the challenge.
After you have found out which level you must do, you will search on this thread, for the gamesave for the appropriate level of the week.

After finding the correct gamesave, you MUST mod the gamesave to match your profile's and console's settings or it won't work.

Here is a step by step guide to modding your Gamesave.
1. Plug a USB device, or Transfer Cable into your Xbox. (You do not need your gamerprofile for any of the modding parts)
2. Go to My Xbox> System Settings > Memory > Hard Drive(or wherever you have a gamesave saved). (Note: If you use your current campaign progress, all progress will be deleted upon modding.)
3. Put the Game save onto your USB/Transfer Cable.
4. Take the USB/Transfer Cable out of your Xbox.
5. Download Modio. (http://www.game-tuts...unity/modio.php) <--- DownLoad for Modio.
6. Open Modio and go to Explore Device.
7. Click on file at the top left.
8. Open Contents
9. Open your profile.
10. Open "Halo: Reach (4D53085B)"
11. Open Gamesaves.
12. Drag and drop the file inside that starts with s_ (something like seiwrmidsuaqbaaaaaic0uqwx3oul00ssbmkkzgtz) onto your Desktop.
13. Leave Modio Open
14. Open the Downloaded Gamesave file.
15. Drag the gamesave inside the folder onto your desktop next to your own (remember which one is yours.)
16. Drag your own gamesave onto Modio, and it will open a small window that says General File Info and File Contents at the top.
17. Now Drag the Modded Gamesave into Modio and The same things should be at the top.
18. Move the windows next to each other and Observe the "Profile ID" and "Device ID" that is on either window.
19. Delete the "Profile ID" and "Device ID" On the Modded Game save and Copy your own Profile ID and Console ID into the appropriate Spaces.
20. Click Rehash and Resign (twice, to be safe).
21. Move your own save off your desktop into your recycle bin.
22. Click Explore Device.
23. Click File at the top left.
24. Open "Contents"
25. Open "Your profile"
26. Open "Halo: Reach (4D53085B)"
27. Open "gamesaves"
28. Delete the gamesave already inside the folder.
29. Drag the Modded Gamesave that you have modded, into the window.
30. Plug the Usb/Transfer cable back into your xbox.
31. Start up Halo Reach.
32. Go to Campaign.
33. Choose the device that you have the Gamesave on.
34. If the Level it loads isn't the LASO level that you modded, You did it wrong.


Now, I will again re-write the guide to Doing the glitch once the LASO gamesave is on your xbox.

1. Start the Level after loading the modded gamesave.
2. It will show a blank screen and then end the level.
3. You will then see your credit count going up.
4. Back out of Credit counter screen into the campaign lobby.
5. You will see the mission you just finished on the left side.
6. Sign out of your Gamer Profile.
7. You will be returned to the Main Menu after a second or two.
8. Press "Main Menu"
9. It will tell you to either "Sign into Gamerprofile" or "Choose Temporary Profile"
10. Choose Temporary Profile.
11. Go to the campaign lobby.
12. Sign into your Gamerprofile
13. Press Start and go to challenges.
14. You will notice that the LASO challenge is uncompleted yet you have the credits you got from doing it before signing into the temporary profile.
15. Start the Level again.
16. Repeat steps 2-12
17. Congratulations you capped your credits within 10 minutes. (If you did it right.)

When you get on the Next day you will find that the LASO challenge is again, "complete".
Repeat 6-14 and the Challenge will be uncompleted yet again.

I have been doing this glitch for 2 months now (I went from Major grade 2 to Colonel grade 3 in a week and a half.) but I have yet to spot a tutorial on how to do it, if there is one, I apologize for the extra thread.

IF YOU ARE DOING THE GLITCHED SAVE FOR LASO YOU MUST HAVE A USB FLASHDRIVE OR TRANSFER CABLE

This glitch works with ALL challenges, however I personally suggest only doing it for the campaign based ones due to its massive amount of credits for small amount of time consumption.

1: Check the challenges each week until you find the LASO challenge for any level.

3: Modify your downloaded game save to match your own Profile/Console/Device IDs (Video:

4: Play halo reach.
5: Play the campaign level for LASO.
6: After the cutscene ends and you're back in the Campaign lobby you will want to sign out.
7: It should take you back to the main menu.
8: Press Main Menu, and when it prompts you to choose Temporary or Gamer profile, choose Temporary.
9: Go back to the Campaign lobby while on the Temporary profile.
10: Then sign back onto your gamer profile.
11: After you choose your device it should automatically load the level you played before signing out.
12: Go through the cutscene again, REPEAT STEPS 6-12.

You can reach capped credits within 10 minutes.

You will be banned temporarily for this, how quickly they catch you is the question.
I personally have been banned once for 2 weeks, but never have I been reset for it.
When you are banned you are unable to earn credits, but you can play matches and forge as you please.

I'm pretty sure you get a temporary ban and a credit reset if you do this enough. If you do this, I would do it moderately or else you're most likely going to be caught. I, for one, wouldn't go all the way to the credit cap. I think that would make it pretty obvious that you were challenge resetting.

And then have fun with another reset plus a ban that will be longer then your first one. You can't win if you get reset every time. Eventually you're just going to get a permanent ban and then you won't be able to boost at all. Anyway, do what you please. I'll avoid this method.
