A Game Save is exactly what the title says. It is a saved game from someone that has already completed the game or part of the game to allow you to unlock certain achievements. Some of the Game Saves allow you to just load the game and then it just pops up all the achievements. For other ones you have to do certain things that the instructions specify.

A Game Save will help you get your Gamerscore higher by pretty much doing nothing. It is a lot easier than actually playing the game if you are just going to play it to get the achievements.

What you are doing is taking the Game Save from the internet or wherever you get it and putting it on over your Game Save and replacing yours. When you do that, it is like you are playing on that person's game and your will be erased. So the only thing you have to do the first time when loading the game is make a Save by starting a new game and then Saving it. Once you have done that, you can Game Save that game.

Where Can I get Game Saves?
Most Game Save Websites are closed and you can only be invited to them. The only ones that aren't are this one. And one called Xploder Forums

Sort of.

But what your doing is instead of using other people's gamertag, your using other people's gamesaves.

By using their gamesaves you can resign them, meaning you can fool the system to make it think that that's your gamesave. So when you pop in the disk and load up the save, you will have all the progress from the gamesave you downloaded.

Gamesaving is fun to do, except when you get those bad saves that give you achievements out of order...

How do you hide the fact that you gamesave though? Just hide achievements?

What people do is just use gamesaves that unlock achievements in an order and do it offline, so it doesn't show the date on your achievements page.

You get your gamerscore reset to 0.

In addition, sometimes they don't let you unlock any more Gamerscore after you get reset. Which means that you will always be stuck at 0 Gamerscore.

I think so. You have to inject your save back in, but I'm not entirely sure how to do it.
