Macbook.
I have a white macbook, had it now for almost three years in february. I've been thinking about getting a new macbook pro and I will in a few weeks or so, and the last few days my current macbook has been slowing down for no reason. I checked the activity thing and everything is fine, not sure about viruses though. Mainly it's just overall acting weird, the internet doesn't respond sometimes and finder is even acting weird. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Instead of buying a new one I bought a Refurb 15" macbook pro (2011) from Apple that's coming tomorrow... saved me over $500 from purchasing it new and it still has the warranty and you can buy apple care like usual.. if your thinking of getting one might be a good way to save cash!

^I might consider that.
Also I improved my speed in a few ways. First off I closed all other programs or apps that I am not currently on and then I moved everything from my desktop (folders) somewhere else. Then I cleaned up some things I didn't need (probably opened up a few gigs of space). I shutdown and let it rest for a few minutes and I'm back in business. It seems to be ok now. Since we're on macbooks as I said I'm looking to buy a new one, but I'm thinking the new models are coming out, should I wait for a few weeks and see if they do come out?

I'm pretty sure some new ones just came out. I was just in the apple store today, and they looked badass. Kinda the same but the outline of the screen was in black.

I would go with the 7500 RPM, I upgraded mine to that. The only reason I say that is it's not a lot more to get it. I think like 30 or 40 bucks extra so I mean if your spending what you are already you mise well. I kind wish I would have gotten an iMac. I mean don't get me wrong I love my new macbook, but I don't really move it it just kinda sits here lol
