Well, this uses integrated graphics similar to Intel's Sandy Bridge series, you won't get that much graphic performance. I'm sure for that price you can find something else that has more decent graphics performance, but the hardware is nice for that price.

Dude, if u got the i5, if ur not going to do any sort of intensive gaming, it will be wayyy more than enough. It will literally make your applications so fast, its crazy.

Now, if you lose your mind completely, look at the Intel Core i7 3960X Extreme Edition. 6 Cores at 3.4 GHz overclockable to over 5 GHz, 15MB shared cache, and a ridiculous price tag. Lol, happy hunting!

I'm sure that rig is up for it, but you can probably find a laptop better suited for what your looking for, for around the same price. Lenovo is a great company, and anything you buy from them you can expect to be quality built. I'd worry more about processing power, faster hard drive (7200rpm would be a cheap upgrade, or and SSD if your feeling loaded), and less RAM.
You don't really need 8gb of RAM, unless you plan on making movies, while watching movies, reading reviews on movies, tweeting about movies, and watching porn at the same time (and still have RAM to spare).

With video editing, rendering times can be slow, which is where a faster CPIU/GPU would come in handy. I'd also recommend looking at the lenovo laptops equipped with Workstation Graphics cards, rather than gaming graphics cards.
A workstation GPU is built to work better with 3D rendering software, and programs like autocad. They also perform well with games, but not as well as a regular gaming GPU. (You can improve gaming performance by using custom drivers).
