Hmm, let's not copy and paste the same post in multiple threads.

And the easiest thing to do to increase your skills is just to stay back. If you run around and die a lot, stay back, watch rush routes, and find those nasty head glitches.

What waffle said and another way would be trying playing Campaign on a harder setting so you get used to the flow of the game, and all that stuff.

Play with a gun you are most comfortable with and used to. Try different sensitivities until you find the right one.

Domination is a good game to improve your skills imo, because there are three objectives to watch, just pick one you like and keep it safe. Or run around the map and sneak up on people like i do

Run from cover to cover. Every time you turn a corner look both directions. ALWAYS watch the radar. Big thing is the radar. I'm not always the the top killer but I'm almost always in the top three and have the least deaths. Like Snow said find a good sensitivity. The default is just too slow. They said Domination but I get pwned more on there than I do TDM. Then again they all play on 360 and I play on PS3.

When it comes to guns honestly I'd say the ACR. If you're not really good and can't use other weapons like the Type 95, P90, and other machine and sub-machine guns with high efficiency I'd say go with the the SCAR till you get the ACR. And in my opinion attachments like the extended mag are useless if you're using the Slight of Hand perk anyways. You're better off using something like the red dot or noob tube if you prefer that.

Well if your playing MW3, i got to level 30 weapon proficiency by just using the M4(only gun i used so far), im only level 47 and i only played 4 hours, i average about 20-30 kills a game with 5-8 deaths.

Sit in a corner and stare at a spot, probably every game I'm in half of the enemy team does it.

Considering the fact that CoD doesn't take much skill in the first place, your out of luck from there lol..

But really, if your gonna stay back then avoid the middle parts of the map and work around the outskirts picking people off that run into the middle.

If your going to rush then know your routes.. It's much better to take the less obvious route and sneak up behind the objective then take the obvious route and just keep dying. Try to run with cover instead of running in the middle of a street because you will have less areas to be shot from as well as maybe a quick escape(ex. running against a building then hoping in a window as your getting shot at)

Define skill, as I recall you have to learn how to do something i may not like cod but it does take skill...well most of it.

1. play in a party, this is by far the best thing you can do.
2. stick with Ars they have the best overall usage IMO mobility rof range are by far superior to everything but the rasss sniper rifle.(excluding the Mk14)
3. don't rage it makes you worse.
4.run support/or low killstreaks preferably specialist as it gives xp bonus and helps hone your gun skills.
