How to get a FREE Bad Company 2 VIP code [TUT]
I'm too broke to actually pay $60.00 for a new game, so of course I just burn all of my games. Until Bad Company 2, I have never had any problems with doing this. The problem is that anyone who buys a new/legit copy of bad company 2 gets a VIP code that gives them access to extra maps and free DLC. Last night I decided to try and find a workaround for this, and was successful after speaking with an EA Rep for an hour and a half through the live chat on their website. Fortunately, it won't take you as long because I will tell you everything you need in order to get your code as fast as possible.
Things you will need: A brain An already used VIP code from a friend (you also need the email that was used to register that persons game/vip code to EA.com, and that persons birthday) You also need to register at EA.com for your Bad Company 2 game (it's ok if your game is burned) I was lucky enough that my homie DivineDeath was generous enough to let me use his account information to get my VIP code. (Don't spam him because there is no way EA will let another person who is using his account get a free code) Go to the EA support page. (I found it by going to google and typing EA, then clicking the support link under the EA google entry) Click "Email Us" Fill out the information in the little drop down boxes. (for category I clicked Game Information & Promotions / Special offers) Then click the live chat button, and wait to be connected to a customer support rep. (I got keith) When you are connected, tell them that you bought a new copy of Bad Company 2 and that the VIP code is registered to your old account (your friends VIP account), and it won't let you use it for your account. Make sure that you let them know that both xbox live accounts are on the same Xbox. They will most likely tell you "I suggest that you use GT 'DivineDeath' to play online for VIP". When they said that to me I told them "DivineDeath is my big brother and his gamertag is naughty so my mom won't let me use his account. when I bought this game, nobody told me that I would only be able to use it on part of my xbox." To verify that your not a h4x0r or something, they will ask you for the birthday, and email address of the person who registered the VIP account. They may ask you for the VIP code too, but I just told them that I lost it. Keith told me that he could link my gamertag to the same email address as DivineDeath so that we would both have VIP access, but it may cause problems when playing online. So I just told him that I did not want to do that because I payed $60.00 for a full game and I would like to be able to use the full game on my xbox as I please. Anyways, just follow that basic guideline and I'm pretty sure you will be successful in getting a code. Remember to kindly thank the Rep for helping you, because it's people like us that make their jobs suck. I made sure to fill out the survey saying that Keith was extremely pleasant to talk to, and that he was able to satisfy me as a customer.

You gotta let me know what your new gamertag is once you change it so I can add you on live. When I first signed into your account, I was like "How the **** is Microsoft not on his *** about his gamertag??" Then 10 mins later it signed you out of live and gave me the message saying that your gt was inappropriate and needed to be changed. lololol
